Wild Statia: When in Drought…

  1. Good commentary Mark: I’m sure you were thinking also about how grazing invasive herbivores, like donkeys, and especially goats are making our droughts so much worse. It appears that local governments would never regulate the numbers of goats and the herds owners are given free rein to continue increasing their numbers and continue to let them feed off the common resources of vegetation that really belongs to all citizens. It is a Tragedy of the Commons ( book written by Garret Hardin) in the harshest sense.
